Under the freelance/corp model, once I’ve chosen the contractor, what support can I expect from the Business Manager?
A Business Manager will support you in all stages of the contract and will ensure that they are continuously following the development of the job through to completion.
The contractor is located remotely, how can the contract be signed?
Again, the benefits of the freelance/corp model mean that you actually enter into a contract with freelance.com and so the Business Manager and our admin team manage the exchange of contracts for you. Naturally under the freelance/direct mode, you are at liberty to choose whether to do this via email or via fax.
Can I opt for a payment schedule?
Under the freelance/corp model, the use of services is invoiced monthly on the basis of a schedule of activities approved by you. In the case of a fixed price contract, this approves the intermediate stages with intermediate invoicing and receipts.
